Is it REALLY nearly two years since the last post ?!

We would have to write a book to cover the multitude of reasons why so won’t bore anyone with that right now.

This post is going to be nothing to do with video but we just HAD to put the information out as it might well be something that a LOT of people will be interested in ?

Social Networking & Content Sharing That Pays !

For some time now Social Networking sites such as MySpace and FaceBook to name just two have been rapidly growing in popularity. So much so that Ad Revenues are soaring and although it is the users themselves that are supplying the actual content the site owners are reaping the big financial rewards from Ad Revenue. Times are now changing with ever more “Revenue Sharing” options cropping up to share videos, images and narrative content.

This post is going to be a bit long and we will be encouraging you to take certain actions which at the time may not make sense but at the end of this post we hope you will agree that it was a wise decision to act upon our suggestions ?

So get comfortable and have a pen and paper ready for any notes you may wish to take and let’s get going.

We want you to look at the options below and sign up for each one in turn as we mention them and it will all fit into place at the end. They are all FREE so there is no financial risk.

If you currently have the capabilities to actually produce videos then you can of course load them straight up to Youtube as well as many other popular video sharing. But before you do that we would suggest that you make sure you get a free account with the Revver Video Sharing site because they have added a nice twist to the proceedings by “Revverising” every video upload. What this means to the video producer is that a content driven Ad tag will be embedded with the uploaded video and this code will follow that video … wherever it goes !

Having got your FREE Revver account the benefits are that you can now load your video onto this site and you will receive 40% of the Ad Revenue generated by simple viewings of your video. Remember that the Ad is tagged to your video so all that is needed for you to get paid is for it to be viewed !

But the benefits don’t stop there because any video on the Revver site can be embedded by anyone else (even you !) virtually anywhere they like to provide a truly viral opportunity. And as the Ad tag goes with it you will continue to get the 40% Revenue share every time it is viewed and if it is embedded again and again and again …. just think about it !

In-Video Advertising is catching up

For some time now the use of online video has been exploding throughout the internet and the percentage of websites in existence that do not contain at least one video clip is diminishing rapidly.

Until now the advertising fraternity have not really kept pace but there is now frenetic actvity to latch onto the huge potential for In-Video advertising and the big players are setting out their stalls.

We may all suffer now from “Banner Blindness” and got used to bypassing the “Ads By Google” (unless something is of REAL interest) so for now it’s time to enjoy those video clips without having the interruption of a commercial break.

We will surely get used to the forthcoming new wave of advertising as with everything else that we are bombarded with on a routine daily basis.

Create Some Cool Videos For FREE !

Sadly we have been lacking time to add to this site lately as life just seems to get in the way (you know how it is) but recently we came across a really neat option and have been tinkering around with it with some great results.

Not having the capabilities (technically) or a lot a spare cash to buy equipment and software we had hit a brick wall with our intention to create our own videos. The option highlighted below solved all of that for FREE !

We prepared a simple short video with some holiday pictures we already had and then added some stock clips and pictures from the facilities available.

There are then various options to allow you to share the result as well as load it onto YouTube.

EVERYONE loves FREE stuff … don’t they ?

We’ve only been working on the internet for a few months and in that short time we have signed up to lots of Information Newsletters and Mailing Lists. As a consequence we get at least 50 emails a day giving us links to all sorts of HOT stuff that we must click NOW to get or it will self destruct in 5 minutes and we will lose our chance …. you know how it works ?

Anyway we got one today and after a quick scan was about to hit the delete button but then decided it looked a little too interesting so we followed the link and delved a little deeper.

It really does seem to offer a lot of good stuff and although we didn’t go through EVERY link we saw enough to know that it was well worth a few minutes of our time in checking it out so we have bookmarked the link for a more detailed look later as we’re a bit pressed for time right now.  

There are obviously going to be embedded upsell links and offers (which can be ignored if they are of no interest) but the BULK of the items on offer are FREE so we thought it was worthwhile making this post to let others know about it too.

There is a wide ranging spread of stuff on offer from many notable internet “names” so there is sure to be some items of interest to many reading this and it is worth checking out ….. just go to this link to find out more.
